After careful consideration and multiple attempts to reschedule our Spring Hospital Pharmacy Conference, we have decided there will be no Health Connect Partners physical event held this spring in New Orleans, LA. Instead, we are refocusing our spring conferences to be held virtually.
The health, safety, and well-being of our attendees and staff, as well as everyone’s families and patients, is of paramount importance. We have been closely monitoring guidelines from federal and state governments, CDC, and WHO. We have also been actively following travel advisories and restrictions being placed on our attendees, most of whom are unable to travel for the foreseeable future. With an ever-increasing number of our healthcare Providers on the front lines preparing for and responding to the COVID-19 outbreak, we also appreciate the fact that they are needed far more in their hospitals right now than at our conferences.
We realize that the need for connection in our healthcare communities has never been greater, even though being in the same place is not possible right now. We look forward to bringing Providers and Suppliers together in our new virtual conference format to learn, connect, and support each other.
Our 2020 Virtual Spring Hospital Pharmacy Conference will be held May 28th – June 12th. Virtual Reverse Expo sessions will be held June 2nd – 4th and June 9th – 11th;from 8:00am – 5:00pm (Central).
We are excited to find new ways to foster those connections and will be sharing more details in the coming weeks. Please stay tuned for additional information, which will be coming soon. We look forward to hosting you for an exciting online event experience. Questions? Contact Jason Green: 843-689-9996.
I was registered for the conference in New Orleans – will my registration automatically transfer to the virtual conference?
Converting your registration from our live conference to our virtual conference is our first priority. We will be reaching out to each of you, but in the meantime please feel free to contact Jason Green: 843-689-9996.
I booked a hotel room in New Orleans – will that be refunded?
If you booked a room in our conference block, your reservation(s) will be cancelled. You should not have been charged a deposit, but if you were it will be fully refunded back to the credit card used to reserve the room.
Please take note that if you booked a room outside of our conference block or at a different hotel, you would need to cancel it yourself as HCP does not have access to those itineraries.
If you have any questions, please contact Rachael Brownlie: 615-449-6234
Is CE credit available for the virtual educational sessions?
Yes, it is. Our Hospital Pharmacy Conference educational sessions are accredited through the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). However, if you wish to receive CE credit for the sessions you attend, you must request it in advance. If you are interested in receiving credit for the educational sessions, be sure to indicate this to us while you are logged into your "My HCP" account on our website. Simply click on "My Profile" from the menu on the left side of the screen once you've logged in, then scroll down to the CE section and check "Yes".
CE Credit is assigned based on registration & logins for each educational session. Please be sure to register for each session to ensure you receive credit for the sessions you attend, as the CE agency requires registration as proof of attendance for each virtual session. After the conference, please allow 6-8 weeks for your CE certificate to be uploaded to your NABP account.
What is an NABP # and why do I need one to receive CPE credit?
The CPE Monitor (a national, collaborative effort by the NABP and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education) requires all pharmacists and technicians to obtain an e-Profile ID in order to receive credit for any CPE activities taken from ACPE-accredited entities. In order to provide CPE credit for attendance at our educational sessions, we will need to have each attendee’s NABP # on file. For more information on the CPE Monitor or to obtain your e-Profile ID, please visit their website. Once you have obtained your e-Profile ID, log into your "My HCP" account on our website. Simply click on "My Profile" from the menu on the left side of the screen once you've logged in, then enter the information in the appropriate fields.
