FAQs
After careful consideration and multiple attempts to reschedule our Spring Radiology & Imaging Conference, we have decided there will be no Health Connect Partners physical event held this spring in New Orleans, LA. Instead, we are refocusing our spring conferences to be held virtually.
The health, safety, and well-being of our attendees and staff, as well as everyone’s families and patients, is of paramount importance. We have been closely monitoring guidelines from federal and state governments, CDC, and WHO. We have also been actively following travel advisories and restrictions being placed on our attendees, most of whom are unable to travel for the foreseeable future. With an ever-increasing number of our healthcare Providers on the front lines preparing for and responding to the COVID-19 outbreak, we also appreciate the fact that they are needed far more in their hospitals right now than at our conferences.
We realize that the need for connection in our healthcare communities has never been greater, even though being in the same place is not possible right now. We look forward to bringing Providers and Suppliers together in our new virtual conference format to learn, connect, and support each other.
Our 2020 Virtual Spring Radiology & Imaging Conference will be held May 11th – 21st. Virtual Reverse Expo sessions will be held May 12th – 14th 8:00am – 5:00pm (CT).
We are excited to find new ways to foster those connections and will be sharing more details in the coming weeks. Please stay tuned for additional information, which will be coming soon. We look forward to hosting you for an exciting online event experience. Please feel free to contact Jeff Riedinger: 615-619-6019 with questions.
I was registered for the live conference in New Orleans – will my registration automatically transfer to the virtual conference?
Converting your registration from our live conference to our virtual conference is our first priority. However, there will be a short registration form to fill out in order to allow you to select your Virtual Reverse Expo session times and provide some information to help us with your technical setup. We will be reaching out to each of you, but please feel free to contact Jeff Riedinger: 615-619-6019.
I paid for a spouse registration and additional hotel nights for the trip to New Orleans – will that be refunded?
You may request a refund for spouse registration and/or additional hotel nights that have been paid for our New Orleans conference, or we can roll that purchase to our fall show for you – at your choice. Please contact Amy Johnson: 727-816-9700
What should I do about my airfare that was booked for New Orleans?
HCP will be cancelling all flights booked through Travel World for Provider attendees.
Please take note that if you booked a flight for a guest or self-arranged your flight, you would need to cancel it as HCP does not have access to those itineraries.
If you have any questions, please contact Amy Johnson: 727-816-9700
What is required of provider attendees to attend the virtual conference?
Provider attendance is on an invitation-only basis, and we evaluate each potential attendee individually before extending an invitation.
For our virtual spring conference, we request Provider attendees to participate in 4 hours of Virtual Reverse Expo sessions which can be scheduled at the times most convenient for you. That is the equivalent to the Reverse Expo sessions at our in-person conferences. However, the minimum requirement for full virtual conference registration (which includes access to all virtual educational sessions with CE credit provided for the sessions you attend) is participating in 2 hours of Virtual Reverse Expo sessions. The Radiology & Imaging Virtual Reverse Expo sessions will be held May 12th –14th between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm (CT).
Is CE credit available for the virtual educational sessions?
Yes, it is. Credit is assigned based on registration & logins for each educational session. Please be sure to register for each session to ensure you receive credit for the sessions you attend, as the CE agency requires registration as proof of attendance for each virtual session. After the conference, please allow 4-6 weeks for receipt of your CE certificate.

Will someone be available to help me with technical issues?
Absolutely! The platform is still under development but in the coming days we will have specific information released that will provide a walk-through and tips for success. We will also be in touch with each of our virtual conference attendees in advance of their scheduled sessions to assist with trouble shooting and provide a practice run of the platform to ensure you are comfortable with the process. And if there are any questions on the day of your Virtual Reverse Expo sessions, our staff will be on standby to assist at any time.
